Apple’s iPhone Reception Problems Will Not Go Away

As Apple attempts to control the press on their iPhone4 problems, I cannot help but wonder what all the fuss is about. As I said earlier on this blog the iPhone itself, even with the flaws it is the best phone Apple has made. It has a much better camera, better screen resolution, faster CPU, and many other enhancements.

I have read such things as iPhone recalls, law suits, and other outrageous claims over this reception problem. I still say it is the best iPhone for making calls they have made. Flaws or not, it is simply the best product on the market today. I am beginning to wonder is a world of press releases and shocking news, if these publications just do not have much to talk about and simply have jumped on the iPhone bashing band wagon to get another article on Google.

In any case today’s press conference from Apple should be interesting, and I look forward to seeing how Apple handles themselves under fire. Deserving of it or not. I assume there not going to try and tell everyone how to hold a cell phone again.

Google New Android Application Development Beta Program

Google has decided to completely open up there Android application development. Instructing a new beta program that will give everyone access to development tools that used the very successful visual programming model, in hopes that applications can be created with very little programming from the application developer. These applications will have access to even the hardware elements themselves, making for a very interesting development environment for non techie developers, with little programming experience. It should be an interesting beta program. This could work and we could see some amazing applications in the future. We will see.

Lebron is going to The Heat!

Well Lebron is going to join Wade with the Miami Heat. Today may be the birth of the next great basketball team that can win back to back championships. Only time will tell, but it is certainly a team that can support him on his quest to get that ring he has been so close too, the last couple of years. D. Wade is now going to have to share the spot light. Matter fact he may have just given it up for a new team member that can almost single handily win a championship.

I personally can not want for next years seasons. I may even become a heat fan! Laugh

Facebook is in The News Again! BP Boycott Page is missing?

Well there was, as a spokesman said from Facebook said, a “technological glitch” and the Fakebook’s BP Boycott page was removed. The spokesman also said there was nothing sinister behind the move, and the automated systems mistakenly flagged the page for removal. Hummm… I believe them I really do. Laugh

The removed page prompted a protest from Public Citizen, a nonprofit public interest group that has been promoting the boycott. It called the removal of the page irresponsible and said the Facebook members deserved a better answer than this lame excuse.

A Public Citizen attorney Greg Beck said “I don’t think it’s much of an explanation at all. They didn’t explain why their system took it down, and just the fact that a community that large — with more than 700,000 users — could be taken down without explanation is problem. The automated system doesn’t tell us that much.” Beck also added “Facebook and other social websites have become the public squares of the internet — places where citizens can congregate as a community to share their opinions and voice their grievances. Facebook’s ownership of this democratic forum carries great responsibility.”

Well I for one, trust Facebook is up to the task of being a keeper of this democratic forum. They have proven many times over the past couple of years there in this for the money. From web spam, scams and borderline fraud they have proven they can not be trusted. So I am betting the BP sent them a little check.
